Afghani House Restaurant

The Afghani House Restaurant serves delicious cuisine from Afghanistan in a romantic atmosphere. Although the building is not impressive from the outside, you'll find that the interior is cozy and architecturally unique.

The menu consists of mostly meat dishes -- chicken, beef, and lamb. The majority of the dishes are lamb entrees. There is a good selection of wine and the service is friendly and helpful.

I had the Gulpa Challaw, which is a sort of beef stew cooked with tomatoes, ginger, and cauliflower. This dish is served with rice and bread. I liked it, but I thought my companion's dish was tastier.

My friend ordered the Chicken Kebabs and they were very yummy. His dish was also served with rice and bread, with a delicious garlicky, minty chutney sauce.
