Description: I went with a large group for a post-business meeting outing. This restaurant was absolutely amazing. We were served the chef's choice tasting menu which had wine served with each course. By the time dessert rolled around we were stuffed and tipsy. However, the wait staff was incredibly accommodating. Before we began she asked if we had any dietary restrictions/requests. We has a vegan/no dairy person and I'm the non-fish/seafood eater in the group. They were so great about finding us options!
I sneaked a peak at the normal menu and Zealous does offer a vegetarian tasting with wine. Entrees appear to range from $27 to $35 and salads are around $12. The wine selection is amazing.
The highlights of our 7 course dinner were the spinach-wrapped Asian pear, the pea and asparagus risotto, the deconstructed black forest case dessert.
The space is modern with brick walls and a glass enclosed wine cellar. There is slate tile on the floors.
I was surprised to find it not so busy on a normally crazy Saturday night. It is a shame for those who miss it, but lucky for the diner who finds this little gem. I would for sure take a client or loved one here for a special occasion. It is fabulous and the service was great too.
