You start with bread and then they bring you a turnstile of different side dishes and dipping sauces. The salad is wonderful and has a sweet dressing. There are also chicken wings. Then you are brought out skewers of pork, steak, turkey and shrimp. It's an all-you-care-to-eat, family-style. It's great for kids especially if they are picky eaters like mine, yet special for the adults as well. There are also activities for the kids during the meal like a hula hoop contest and a coconut roll contest. The waiters also sing for birthdays. It's great to do a day at the Magic Kingdom, take the monorail to the Polynesian to eat at O’Hana and then take it back to the Magic Kingdom to catch the parade and fireworks, or you can go out on the beach to see the lighted water parade.

ALOHA!

'Ohana is in the Polynesian Resort at Disney World. They offer special show nights (luaus) and regular dining with light entertainment from 5pm-10pm. 'Ohana is a place for family fun, laughter and good food. . . Hawaiian-style! They provide a family-interactive show and cater to special occasions, with everyone being called "Cousin". For example, the children were given brooms to race pushing coconuts around the room. The Hawaiian singer has fun with the guys and offers a mini hula lesson and a hula-hoop competition. Birthdays are extra special.

Your waiter will first serve you hot pineapple bread followed by your meal from three-foot skewers cooked on the 16-foot open fire pit in full view. The food is excellent (best in all of Disney). Everything is served family-style and all-you-can-eat.

Prices are:
Adults $23.99;
Children 3-11 $9.99
Price includes coffee, tea and soda, and dessert of fresh pineapple with caramel sauce.
Alternative children's selections are available upon request.

Starters include: stir-fried green beans and onions, salad with honey lime dressing, shrimp and vegetable wontons, honey coriander chicken wings, stir-fried rice, and dipping sauces: fruit, peanut, and cilantro ginger.

Dinner skewers offered include grilled tiger shrimp, marinated sirloin steak, mesquite seasoned turkey breast, and barbecued pork loin.

I enjoyed a specialty drink called the Trade Winds - Malibu and Myers rum, banana liqueur and blackberry brandy combined with pina colada mix and a dash of grenadine. For $6.99, it was worth it.

After dinner, you can take a ride on the monorail right outside the door.

Ohana means "family." This restaurant is fun for families and couples alike. I highly recommend both the atmosphere and food. Priority seating is highly suggested,

'Ohana means "family" in Hawaiian. The restaurant is a unique, all-you-can-eat buffet served family style right at your table. The delectable selection of food is Hawaiian/Asian/American, with an assortment of meats and side dishes. The beef, shrimp, poultry, and pork are grilled to perfection on a 16-foot open pit in the middle of the restaurant. This wonderful family restaurant is located in the Polynesian Resort inside Disney World; reservations are recommended, as this place is busy.

The best part of the whole experience is the activities for children, as well as adults. There are coconut races, hula-hoop contests, and hula lessons that are entertaining whether you participate or just watch. This restuarant is very kid-friendly and is best if your child is 3 years or older.

We loved the wonderful food, the children's fun, and the service, which was beyond excellent. And for adults, there are specialty tropical drinks served in coconuts with little colorful umbrellas. So have an island drink, eat some grilled food, and learn to hula with your kids. It's the most fun you will ever have in a restaurant with your family!

O'Hana's was a fun and delicious dining experience. We requested a table that overlooked Cinderella's Castle for an awesome view.

The price included all you can eat. They started out by bringing a platter of appetizers - chicken wings, wontons, and bread, with various sauces for dipping. For the main course, the waiters and waitresses came around with big skewers of pork, beef, turkey, and shrimp. It was all outstanding, and you could have as much as you wanted. They also brought out bowls of veggies and rice. Fresh pineapple with carmel dipping sauce topped off the incredible meal. Alcoholic drinks and specialty desserts were also available at an additional price.

The atmosphere at this restaurant was also half the fun. They had broomstick and coconut races that the kids could participate in - what a riot! It was also neat to watch the skewers of meat being cooked in the kitchen area.

O'Hana's is probably not the place for a romantic night out. But, if you are looking for lots of delicious food in a fun atmosphere, this is the place! Be sure to make priority seating through the Disney dining reservation system.
