You walk into a small country store at the front of the restaurant with deli meats, cheeses, homemade chocolates, and desserts (yum, yum, yum!). The restaurant is a single dining room, very family style atmosphere. Wooden benches and booths. I had the family style pot roast and it was a bit bland. My boyfriend had the Texas style barbecue and it was fantastic. During the remainder of the trip, he often suggested that we return just for that barbecue. My sister's ribs (one of Dave's specialities) were wonderful and were worthy of a return visit. I felt like the food was a good value for the cost.

Hank's was truly a delight. Not only was the food spectacular but the atmosphere is conducive even for a very active seven-year-old. We ate here twice, I highly recommend their pork medallions and the barbecue ribs. And you must, and I mean you must, finish with coffee and their pecan/chocoloate chip/ whiskey pie a la mode.

Casual dining in a relaxing atmosphere of the "Olden Days". Our waiter was superb - tending to our every need. The meals were excellent - something for the whole family. Our meal was a specialty chicken - plenty to eat with a remarkable flavor.

Near the Eagle Trace resort where we stayed; great ribs. Made from scratch breads, etc. Southern cooking: ribs, chicken, salads. Also has a deli that sells many of the items on the menu for takeout.

This is a very nice, homey place to take the kids - very down to earth, price was right, and there's something for all. It's a great little place with a great atmosphere. It's very cheerful and there's nice people all around.
