The restaurant offers a varied menu in a casual atmosphere. The food is excellent and the staff is determined to please. There's a "sports bar" area and the restaurant sits on the edge of one of the 18-hole championship golf courses (in the same building as the Pro Shop).

We decided to join the winemaker's dinner hosted by a local winery. The menu was spectular with the wines especially chosen to match the meal. We were pleasently surprised with the quality of the wines from Virginia. The complete five-course meal was exceptionally presented and the flavor were something we talked about for the next several weeks. The owner of the winery was at our table, which enhanced our enjoyment of the wines as he discussed the process they use in Virginia and the flavors to taste in the wines.

We did not expect much from a resort restaurant . . . but we WERE SURPRISED. We will return to this restaurant the next time we are in the area. Well worth the trip!

I had a fabulous Chicken Manicotti and my husband had the steak. He said his could have been better, though I LOVED mine. Dessert was superb. We had a Chocolate Mandarin Pie, though we were glad that it didn't have a mandarin flavor because the chocolate looked so good -- that's why we ordered it.

Our waiter was very nice and efficient.

We had a banquet for approximately 50 people to celebrate my husband's retirement. The banquet people were great and the food was fantastic. We modified the selections to fit what we thought our guests would like and then let them pre-select their choice of entree. Portions were of a sufficient size that no one left hungry.

Food was very good, and the service was great. We had small children and they were no problem, given the place had a children's menu. The atmosphere was very nice.
