Description: On a recent holiday to Cyprus we all decided to go to a local bar that we had seen called Crazy Spoons. It was quite close to our hotel and always looked nice and inviting. The bar is very welcoming with an inside and an outside area which are both very large. The outside area was my favourite of the two even though inside was lovely and cool from the air conditioning. Outside had really comfortable table and chairs with huge umbrellas to shade you from the sun (if you go here in the day!).
The owner is really friendly and joked around with us a lot giving us all a free bag of crisps half way through our evening. He made sure that he was pleasant with all of his customers, talking and chatting to them. We had a great conversation about the prospect of us moving to Cyprus to teach there (at the time my boyfriend and I were both trainee teachers!). The drinks were very reasonably priced, much cheaper than the hotel, and there was a huge variety of spirits available.
There was a fantastic atmosphere in crazy spoons bar, there was music playing in the background but this was not too loud but just loud enough to be enjoyable.
The toilets were very clean and accessible which always makes the experience more enjoyable.
Crazy spoons also serve food which is very tasty and cheap, portion sizes are huge but I ate all of my food here as it was so enjoyable! There is also a snooker hall below which is owned by the same person and football is shown regularly in the day.
I think that this is a lovely bar to enjoy a drink and a meal at, one to look out for!
