The ribs were great; even our 22-month-old ate two of these. Both girls ate the baked beans. The only thing they forgot were the rolls. This restaurant is known for tossed rolls. I was a little disappointed we did not stay to eat, but the food is worth going back for next time.

On this vacation, we made two trips to Fall Creek for dinner. On our first visit, I had my favorite, Country-fried Sirloin with mashed potatoes and gravy. This traditional country meal is always tasty and I didn’t leave hungry. On our second trip, I tried the All-You-Can-Eat "Farm-raised" Catfish" fillets. This was a great choice. I am not a big catfish lover, but Fall Creek Steak and Catfish House does it right. I must have eaten five large catfish fillets. They were very, very good. The kid's menu has a lot to offer. My daughters like the burgers, of course.

Probably our favorite food at Fall Creek Steak and Catfish House are the rolls. They are served piping hot and are delivered in a unique and fun way by Rudy. With the accuracy of a baseball pitcher, Rudy will toss you a roll from across the room. Don’t worry if you drop it, Rudy has a full tray and will gladly toss you another. This is a lot of fun and the rolls taste great. They have both butter and honey on the table that make these rolls taste even better. While Rudy is waiting for more tasty rolls to bake, he will come by your table with his guitar and play you a fun tune.

At the Fall Creek Steak and Catfish House you will dine on great food, in a wonderful county atmosphere, and have a lot of fun!!

The Fall Creek Steak and Catfish House is easy to find. From the Hwy 76 Strip, take Hwy 165 South towards the Tablerock Dam. Just look for the large statue of a bull on the west side of the road.

The decor is down-home country. The staff is wonderful and everyone makes you feel welcome. As the name implies, Fall Creek specializes in steaks and catfish. The salad bar is plentiful, and offers most everything that you would want on a salad. I have tried their All-You-Can-Eat fried catfish and it is pretty good. I often get their chicken-fried steak. It is extremely tender and comes with mashed potatoes and veggies. It is completely covered with country gravy. I know it is not healthy, but it sure tastes great. My daughters usually order a steak, or a burger with fries. And of course, plenty of hot rolls.

Don’t spend hours waiting in line outside of Lambert’s for a seat. You can be catching your roll in a fraction of the time at Fall Creek Steak and Catfish House. The prices are pretty reasonable and the portions are large. Be careful, the rolls are so tasty, you may be tempted to fill-up on them before your meal comes.

The Fall Creek Steak and Catfish House is located off of the Hiqhway 76 Strip, on Highway 165 in the Fall Creek area. Take Highway 165 South from The Strip or "Yellow Route," as if you were heading towards Table Rock Dam. The restaurant is on the right. Just look for the large statue of a bull out front. If you see the Lawrence Welk Theater, you went too far.
