The food here is pretty good if not all that exciting in presentation, style or variety of choices. And the service teeters between adequate and awful. So why would you choose to eat the News Cafe? Well, location is everything. Situated right on the main thoroughfare along the beach, all the beautiful folks parade by in both directions making for an eyeful that will distract you any frustrations incurred by News Cafe waitresses. If the Adonis and waif parade ever slows down you can console yourself with the view of the ocean waves crashing on the shore. The models will be back shortly.

News Cafe is a must when in South Beach. Ocean Drive is filled with cafes and choosing which one to go to is confusing. News Cafe is in the center of the action. You can go for breakfast, lunch, dinner and after hours. Is is always lively. My favorite time to eat there is after a day a long morning at the beach. Go as you are! At 5 in the afternoon you can enjoy there perfect sized snacks and entrees and watch everybody walk by as you watch the ocean. The food is tasty and unique. After a club we would run there for the delicious spinach and tomato personal pizza. It's a fun place to eat and be seen. The staff is good looking and friendly and the prices are fair.

This is the perfect place to go for cappucinos at sunrise. Set on Ocean Drive, across from the beach, News Cafe provides the perfect setting for a meditative cup of cappucino in the morning or a late night bite to eat. The staff is warm and friendly and the atomosphere is tremendously inviting. The secret to getting good service is to go when the crowds are low(early morning, may - august--when it's so hot and most of the tourists are gone.)

The New's Cafe is a very popular place in South Beach, and the only restaurant I walked out of. While looking at my ketchup crusted menu and waiting for my waitress, I noticed the dirty table, my dirty water glass and the greasy looking food at the table next to me. That was enough for me. I decided to venture to a safer dining experience.
