We walked in and were named the Griswalls as the waiter made up paper dunce hats for us. Then he sized us up and wrote "Pees in the Pool" on my daughter's hat, "I have skid marks on my underwear", for my other daughter, and various other rude comments according to our waiter's insight. Brave people wore their hats during dinner.
After taking your order the waiter brought us our drinks and then as an afterthought threw our straws and napkins from across the room.
It is called Dick's Last Resort because it is the last resort. It's fun, casual, and the food is fine, but not fine dining at its best. There is entertainment and a bar. This is in Barefoot Landing at North Myrtle Beach and is beach eating with a very different atmosphere.
Don't go if you're sensitive, but if you want to just let loose and have a good time, this just might be the place for you.
