At Mares the interior is clean and modern with light walls, big black-and-white photographs (signed Dag Thorenfeldt), chairs in turquoise, grey and green, and tables with crisp, white tablecloths. Still, the food is the important thing here. The menu is short but exciting, and both starters and main courses focus on fish and seafood. Try the amazingly fresh and exciting lobster and orange soup!
