TGI Friday's American Bar

Description

The concept of TGI's American Bar was born in New York in 1965, and today there are over 400 branches all over the world. The American Bar in Oslo opened in 1997, on the city's main street, Karl Johan. As the name implies, this is undoubtedly as American you can get, decorated with dark wood and brass, and with the sound of the American dream from the loudspeakers.

The waiters all have different personalities, giving you some of that Pulp Fiction-feeling. And talking about movies, check out the bartenders. They are trained by the same people that taught Tom Cruise for Cocktail.

The American Bar serves a wide range of excellent alcoholic beverages, soft drinks, tea and coffee, and traditional food like hamburgers, Tex-Mex and ribs. Prices are above average. The kitchen closes earlier than the bar, its opening hours being 11am-11pm Mon-Wed; 11am-11.30pm Thu-Sat; 12pm-11pm Sun. The minimum age for admission is 24.
