Snails being my favourite dish, I would have to admit that here I certainly had some of the best snails I've ever tasted in Finland (other great places for this particular food are Central and Simonkenttä), sizzling in a hot garlic sauce -- these were the highlight of the evening. I just wish they'd give up on the tradition of "must have six snails" and dish out a few more. All the rest of the food was fantastic too, and not as expensive as might be thought of a restaurant with food as wonderful as this place.

The atmosphere is very cosy, slightly dark, with a view of the street from the large arch windows. They have early on had a policy of politely but firmly requesting all mobile phones be switched off upon entering the premices...

Sometimes it is crowded, but so far I have never made reservations ahead. They are open every day late.
