What a Rip Off!

I dined at Vera Cruz last night with 3 friends and we all decided we won't be back.
The service was slow, the meals were drastically overpriced, and we were all sick the next day.
The food? Nice flavours, but smallish serves and stingy ingredients. I had the paella, which had a nice flavour, but the 'seafood' consisted of 2 small calamari pieces and some little (1-2cm) pieces of fish. At $27 I expected much better.
The worst of all was the chips and salsa. When we arrived the waitress casually asked if we would like some chips and salsa. We received a little bowl of corn chips, a bowl of tomate salso and a bowl of guacamole. When we received the bill, this 'snack' had cost us $21. A total scam.
I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone, it is so overpriced. There are lots of other good places to eat in the area- stay away from this one.
