Opened in 1981 and popular with members of the media, politics and the arts who come to enjoy the stylish and comfortable surrounds. This is one of Australia's only restaurants serving a range of flavours and ingredients indigenous to the country—bush tomatoes, bunya nuts, riberry, illawarra and plum cheese fruit. Menu choices include, grilled kangaroo fillet (AUD28.80), baked salmon in paperbark (AUD29.50) and a set native Australian menu including, emu tartare and seared scallops (AUD88 per person).
