Hard Rock Cafe

This can be a little hard to find, and to be honest I think we just ended up running into it. It is not far from the Louvre, and if you happen to walk from there you will pass some quaint upscale shopping areas, but also some less desirable areas, walking at night is not recommended just for the plain fact that you could get lost on the endless rows of similar looking streets. The food is typical Hard Rock Cafe, as is the interior. The size is much larger than it looks on the outside and there is a dance floor on the lower level that you can also see from the upstairs seating that runs along 3 sides of the building around the dance floor. The fourth wall holds a 2 story video screen that can be seen from all floors. If you order retail goods from your table they will bring them to you so you can avoid the store. Some the the Hard Rocks I have been to just make you go pick them up at the store anyway, so this is a time saver.

Hard Rock Cafe

This Hard Rock Cafe was a neat experience. I really enjoyed the atmosphere, which was very similar to the Hard Rock Cafes of America. If you are in the mood for a break from French cuisine, try the Hard Rock.

If you're American, you'll probably do better than we did. Our waitress was new (it was her first day) and I overheard her telling another customer that while she was okay at speaking French and living in Paris, she hadn't quite got a handle on waiting tables. That was evident by the level of service we received, only being Brits.

Nevertheless, the food was good, and the drinks reasonably priced (by Parisian standards). This is the 25th Hard Rock I've visted over the years and, barring substandard witing staff, you know what you're going to get at a Hard Rock. Good food, clean restaurant and good music.

Oh, and a cute Parisian Teddy Bear for the collection!

Good ole American food, after several days of only French food. Burger & fries, like any other Hard Rock Cafe. Great atmosphere for casual dining.
