Great Food But...

This is a great experience. The setting and everything is very cultural...I always enjoy the food but always get a stomach ache
I have many other people who have experience the same issue. I am not sure why but i am guessing that they are probably using a spice that is just bad. We thought it was a meat issue but we switched to chicken and still experience pain. I love the food, i just don't like the aftermath!

Cafe Lalibella

If you've never had Ethiopian food, this is the place to have it. They consitently get awards for best Ethiopian and Ethnic restaurant. Lalibela serves vegan, vegetarian, and meat dishes. I always get the exclusive platter. It has a little bit of everything on it. Chicken, beef, lamb, salad, collard greens, chickpeas, cabbage, peas--it has it all. Injera is the bread they eat and use as their fork. It's a spongy, sourdough type of cold bread. They serve a tea called Tossign, which is a spicy herbal tea. Ethiopian is kind of like Indian--some of the items can be a bit spicy. If you talk to your server, he will be more than happy to walk you through the menu and help you order.
Ethiopian is one of my favorite types of food, and Lalibela does it right.
