3 Times not a Charm

While visiting Joe's Crab Shack off 46 in Sanford for the third but last time, I was again amazed at the rotten service. Three different waitresses not only ignored us, but when we finally asked for service, I was told to go into the restaurant & wait for them to assign me a waitress. Not one of them had the decency to ask if we were being waited on. While this country is in a recession, people are not eating out as much & you would think Joe's Crab Shack would at least make an effort to keep what customers they have happy. I will never eat at or recommend Joe's Crab Shack to anyone. For a good meal, atmosphere & good service, go to
Jax's in Lake Mary. You'll never to go Joe's again after you been there.

There are about 100 Joe's Crab Shacks in the US. I've been to many of them, and none of them have let me down. It was lively, fun, tasty, and cheap. Of course I ordered crab legs, but this restaurant was a little peculiar, in that crab legs by themselves wasn't even on the menu. In fact, the waiter highly recommended almost everything besides the crab legs. I'm not too sure about this tactic, though, because the crabs were so tasty, it was difficult not to order a second meal.

This is a fun place to go. Great food, good atmosphere, and wonderful memories. We went here after Animal Kingdom. It is convient to the Disney Theme Parks.

The atmosphere is very beachy and laid-back. The wait staff dances and sings. The menu features a lot of different seafood options, and the chocolate cake is to die for.

This is a seafood chain that if you have dined in one, you have dined in them all.

The kids love the playground out front. But this will not be a quiet and relaxing dinner. Every so often, the music blares and all the waiters join together in the middle to dance.

The seafood is mediocre and a little pricey for what you get. The poor crab was boiled to mush. The waitress was embarrassed as she tried to show "how it was done" and it bent like a rubber band instead of snapping open.
