Bravo Chef Duke:
Chef Duke made our first trip back to New Orleans since katrina wonderful. My husband was a bit disappointed when he did not see his favorite dish on the Menu but was more than happy to try something new. Our waiter talked with Chef Duke and he came out to our table and offered to fix it for him. It was fantastic....worth the trip from Wisconsin alone. The atmosphere is incredible. We had a wonderful romantic evening at Cafe Giovanni....we will return again and again. Thank you Chef Duke and your great staff.
Sincerely

I picked this restaurant for the Friday night of our arrival because of recommendations plus the opera singers. My only complaint was the singers started later than advertised (advertised at 7pm, but actually began about 7:45pm) and they didn't sing enough, but otherwise they were excellent. I had a delicous glazed pork shop and the wife a torn pasta dish. Nicely prepared and presented.

This place is fantastic! It was a bit pricy for our usual fare, but definitely worth it for a special night out. Treat yourself to a special meal while in New Orleans. The seafood, sides, pastas, and shrimp were to die for . . . wonderful sauces and specials. Bon Appétit!
