Juan's is my favorite cheap eat in New Orleans. The original location on Magazine Street is the "funky Juan's." Fabulous burritos, tacos, guacamole, homemade salsa, etc. Plus, the servings are huge, and they're open pretty late. If you go to the Magazine location on a Saturday night, expect to wait. Also, the service is horrendous. Nevertheless, the food is fantastic, and the stoned surliness of the staff is really just part of the funky charm. The Carrollton Ave. location is cleaner, with better service, but who comes to Nola looking for clean??!

This is one of my all-time fave places to eat in New Orleans. The burritos are HUGE and tasty. Waitstaff is hip, college-age kids and the service could be better, but who cares! The food is great.
