Commander's is the flagship of restaurant family Brennen's empire. This is one of the clasic New Orleans restaurants. Emeril Lagasse got his start here. The decor is like an old Southern plantation. The food was fantastic. Everything is great, but do not miss the bread pudding souffle for dessert. The captain and the wait staff were extremely attentive. The wine list was very fair. We ended up getting 2 bottles of a Santa Barbara reserve Pinot Noir for $30 each. Not too bad for a restaurant. All in all, this was one of the greatest dining experiences I have ever had.
