This place is a great, old bar and grill near the watertown area. There's good live entertainment most nights with karaoke some nights. It was good fun for all, not a young persons only or sports oriented-type bar and grill.

The Steamworks is a great place if you like good old American food like steaks, burgers, and big meaty pies. There is a bar on the ground floor, as well as the smoking section, and downstairs there is another bar and more tables. Service is very friendly and the food is great, so tip the waiter/waitress when you leave.

The Steamhouse also produces its own beer and has huge tanks of most other brands, so there isn't much chance of the taps running dry!

A friend I met in Vancouver took me out to lunch here because it's her favourite place at which to hang out with friends. I can now see why. It's a very friendly place, when you enter, the wood in the decor and the warm colors of the textiles make you feel welcome. It is rather a pub-like hangout that has a very good menu of dishes as well. I had chicken satay and it was excellent! The place is very busy, very popular, so it's not a very romantic or relaxing place to go to, but if you're out for a fun lunch or dinner, or just a beer, it is definitely a cool place to go to.
