We decided to try our luck for a quick lunch before rollerblading in Stanley Park, and to our surprise (carrying the boots), they led us to our nice secluded table. The service seemed initially indifferent, but we had delightful cocktails (I had a mojito), a genuinely excellent hamburger, and cornmeal-fried halibut, which was excellent. We could have been more comfortable, but our server warmed to us quite quickly. It’s clearly aware of its own upmarket essence (you can tell by its wine list), but it's in unmatched surroundings, and for lunch, was surprisingly affordable. It’s dinner next time!
