This is a great local diner that is very near Hotel Monaco and 16th Street Mall. The dress is casual, but there are many working adults that come here for lunch. The decor is a little country with a mix of city-life. The food reminds me of my grandmother's homecooking and I would recommend it to anyone who wants a great meal at a decent price.

If you're a fan of American "diner-type" cuisine (as I am), you can't go wrong with the Rocky Mountain Diner. There are basic sandwiches and fantastic burgers for the less adventurous but also more creative combinations of local meat and fish. The diner is across the street from Denver's beautiful federal courthouse and often packed with lawyers and judges at lunchtime, but it maintains a casual atmosphere and reasonable prices.
