Weekends are packed at this landmark restaurant. Hyden's Dockside has a comfortable ambience and some of the best and freshest seafood in the entire Houston area. Almost everything from the salad dressings through the rest of the menu is made from scratch, with many of the exciting recipes developed by the managing partner Elizabeth Kraft. Specialty salads are huge including the shrimp, lump crabmeat, and other wonderful creations. The menu includes Pompano and Snapper, Stone Crab Claws, Matagorda bay oysters and live soft shell crabs.
