Great Italian Cooking
We ate at Il Pasticcio on Dec. 30 and had a wonderful meal. I had a pasta with shrimp and scallops over fettucini with a saffron and creamy wine sauce that was beautifully prepared. My wife had prosciutto wrapped chicken breast with an asparagus and cheese stuffing. The wine lis is first rate, the service attentive.
We stopped in on the 31st as we had no other place to eat due to not having reservations. The veal chop suffered from the wrong sauce but, again the service was attentive on a night when the place was mobbed.
