The owner was very quick to seat us, no waiting for a change. The food was very good. Robinson Avenue omelet for me and beef machachaca for my partner. Ice tea is always very good but make sure to ask for water if you want it. Flavors are very good, place is a little loud for conversations, waiter seemed to have an attitude like they he was having a bad day (seems to be the normal attitude from the staff on our last few visits). Tables are small but overall I would recommend it... menu does change from time to time so if you have a favorite it may not always be available.

Crest Cafe

Crest Cafe in the Hillcrest area spoke to us after walking around the area for a while looking for a place to dine with it's prices, look and atmosphere. Our waiter was patient as I tried to make up my mind of what to select. The food quality was high, though the peach cobbler ala mode dessert was only fair.

A split/sharing charge of $3, 18% gratuity will be added for parties of 5 or more. Credit cards accepted min. $5, open daily 7am to midnight.
