A must go is to Pipi's - great food, good portions, and they make fresh guacamole at your table. If you are staying close to the marina, check out the first rest. Victor's also has great food and 10 pesos for a beer .

We went there for lunch and had fajitas as were recommended to us, and they were great, best we had ever had. Food, drink, setting, and service were top notch. I'm not sure if I spelled the name correctly, it's pronounced "P P's" and is in midtown, about five blocks from the beach.

This is a very popular location with a festive atmosphere. Now you'll get free guacamole made at your table, to your taste when you order any of their sizzling fajitas at lunch or dinner. It's such a great place that you usually need to wait a while, so go early and enjoy a drink or two while waiting outside on the quaint, cobblestone street.

PiPi's has always been a favourite of ours. The food and atmosphere are famous, as are their margarita's! We always enjoy the local food, we have enough pizza and pasta at home! The food is always good and the live music from the strolling musicians is wonderful.

Pepe's is a definite must for anyone who travels to Puerto Vallarta. Reservations are highly recommended as people on vacation will eat there more than once on a seven day trip. The price is very reasonable, while the portions are enormous - a good idea would be to order one item for two people. They make fresh guacamole at the table, which is the best I have ever tasted. Musicians play and sing throughout the restaurant which is always full. The next time we visit here we will order the flaming fajitas and only order one for two people...it is delicious. Pepe's is famous in Vallarta and you can't visit this city without eating here.
