Great food with mariachis and guacamole made at the table! The restaurant is noisy but has a fun atmosphere, especially for kids and teenagers. The service is good and the restaurant easily accommodated our group of eight.

Too much fun! Pipi's had great music and atmosphere. The fajitas were wonderful and the margaritas were even better. A great place to go for everyone, and the staff was so fun and friendly.

Wonderful. The Mexican food was great. Service was extraordinary. Staff very friendly. The relative inexpensive cost makes this a great place to eat. Sorry we did not discover this place until the last night before our departure -- we would have eaten there several times.

Since the second we got home I have been trying to recreate the "made-fresh-at-your-table" guacamole experience we had at Pipi's with no luck. The food was fantastic and plentiful (I think most of us shared entrees), the drinks were never empty, and that GUAC! Oh man, I wish I was there right now.

One thing you'll never find lacking in PVR is great food. Check out some of our favorites:

Oscars (by the bridge) is a nice open air place on the river. Very romantic (ok, if you're not there with four other people that is).

There is a little place just as you enter the Marina that advertises $1 Coronas. The food was fantastic and practically free. And those dollar beers come with a free shot of tequila.

We went to the Fiesta at the Mayan Palace, which was incredible. Pricey, but worth it just for the food alone.

We ate at Pipi's based on the recommendations of other entries here on the RCI Community website. It is definitely as good as the other recommendations suggested, and was the best of the downtown restaurants that we ate at. We got there around 5:30, so we didn't have difficulty getting a table, but the place started filling up quickly by 6.

My wife had the chicken fajita burrito, which was basically a chicken fajita wrapped up in a huge tortilla. I had a beef fajita chimichanga, which contained beef strips, rice and beans in a fried tortilla. A waiter comes by and makes fresh guacamole right in front of you and will make it as spicy as you want it. The margaritas are the typical fish-bowl size and they have a number of different varieties. My wife had a strawberry one and I had a peach one. Both were very good. The portions of the dinners are very large. Both my wife and I ate about half of our burritos and took the other half back the the timeshare and ate it for lunch the next day.

Pipi's takes credit cards and cash, Pesos and US$.
