This restaurant was all about the atmosphere. The food was a little pricey, but worth the taste and experience you get while dining. My family had a blast requesting Spanish songs to the mariachis and singing along.

The coconut shrimp appetizer was excellent, but the crab bisque was very different than in the States, more clumpy here. I had ordered the fondue (bread and meat) and everyone else ordered the huge seafood platter, including steak and lobster. They cooked the steak, which was to die for, right in front of us, Chateaubriand style. My husband and I ordered the crepe appetizer, which again they cook right in front of you. This looked like it would taste a lot better than it did.

Other than being bombarded by Mexican kids trying to sell you whistle thingies and chiclets, the mariachis are pretty good and make sure you get a drawing done by a local artist that comes to your table. The music was great, and you're in the perfect location to people watch being on the marina. Make sure you have a reservation, or come early, as there's not a lot of seating. You'll want one outside on the patio!
