Margaritavilla

I do not recommend this restaurant. It's at the tip of the marina and is a tourist trap. The prices are astronomical for the type of food served. Basic Mexican and seafood meals average from $22-$36. Coronas come uncapped and are $6.50 each. The salsa was pretty good, and so was the guacamole. The ceviche wasn't marinated for a long period of time to be good. I was waiting for food for over an hour and a half and did not stay for dessert.

Margaritaville sits facing the marina and main road. During the evening you can hear all the music playing, plus the mariachi band playing at your table. Sit on the patio and watch everyone walking around the area. The chicken mole was wonderful.

Margaritavilla

Margaritavilla is located right on the marina, in Cabo San Lucas. It is a very lively place, with good local cuisine and enormous Margaritas. It’s a very busy place, so I would recommend reservations. We ate here after a day of shopping in Cabo San Lucas.

The Margaritas were pretty expensive, almost $10, but they were the size of a goldfish bowl. The food was good. It’s a great place for people watching. They have indoor dining or you can sit out on the veranda, which is what we opted to do. A wandering mariachi band played for awhile on the sidewalk along the marina. All in all, it was a nice place. As you can tell from my picture, we were having way too much fun with our Margaritas.

There's excellent food and service. We each enjoyed the chicken burrito dinner, which had lots of food for a very inexpensive price (about $9 each). The margaritas were large and tasty, but a little spendy ($7 each).

All employees were extremely courteous and friendly. Best of all may be the location: right on the edge of the marina. It's a very romantic setting at night. This was our best "bang-for-the-buck" during our trip and definitely the best local cuisine we tasted. A MUST DO!
