The food was good and the drinks really strong. It was a casual and fun atmosphere. The tables are in the sand and I was so impressed with the waiters carrying the trays and trudging up and down the sand to serve! The place is a tad over priced but with all the Americans there, they know they'll pay. I would also call it Americanized Mexican food, very simple and light fare. My friend had the table made Caesar salad and I had the chicken tacos. The refried beans was a fashionable strip, the rice was a formed cup and then a pepper laid on top. A bit too food network presentation for me but the taste was good.

The Office has their "Mexican Show" a couple of nights a week. The entertainment is very audience-involved: dance contest, a piñata for the children, couple’s contests, and balloon hats for everyone. One year I won a bottle of champagne in the dance contest, which was the last thing I needed, considering how much tequila it took to get me on stage.

The food is pretty good -- typical for the area.

See "Most Memorable Experience," in the Overview. This restaurant turned out the best-tasting Mexican food for the best price and best location and experience. The margaritas are big and tasty. The beachfront dining was great, even with the area roped off from the peddlers who stood by, trying to catch your eye and your wallet. Average of $50 for two included the drinks and tip. Though prices in most of Cabo seemed to mirror the States, rather than Mexico, this restaurant experience was well worth the money. At the time, their beach was short, due to the previous hurricane, and it made watching the dance of the incoming tide versus the plastic lawn tables/chairs most entertaining. Sunset and tiki torches added to the entire experience.

Great food, great music, and on the beach! They also keep the local peddlers at bay so you can enjoy your time there... Also, they have the best smoothies I have ever had - spent a whole afternoon sucking smoothies and occupied one of their sun lounge chairs - awesome!

When I am on Medano Beach, this is where I have my daily fix of quesadilla! It's right on the beach (tables and chairs are set up in the sand) and offers good food with equally good service. The only thing that can be annoying is the beach vendors come up to your table to try to sell their goods EVEN while you are eating . . . ahh Mexico!
