Sit at a table under trellised vines in the garden of a restored Ottoman mansion overlooking the Bosphorus Strait. The covered terrace opens out to a pretty garden with tables set out under large shady trees. On weekends, locals flock in droves here, not because the food is especially excellent – although it's OK as far as fish restaurants go – but because it's far enough out of the center and in a wonderfully romantic setting right on the waterfront.
