Description
If you love sushi, you shouldn't miss a midday sojourn here on weekdays. It's a stylish, uncluttered dining space spread out on three floors, tastefully done out in blond wood with bare tables and a few Oriental artifacts. The emphasis at Udonya is on restraint rather than vulgar exuberance. You could try the noodles, tempura or teriyaki dishes but sushi seems to be the unanimous favourite. Made with tender raw tuna, a sliver of octopus and various other types of velvety, fat and buttery fish, it's the best in town. Udonya should definitely be at the top of your itinerary for fine Japanese cuisine.
