Dolly Parton's Dixie Stampede

This was the kids’ favorite show. Starts out with a little entertainment before the dinner show. You can buy a drink and then get $1 refills - if taking a family, would suggest asking when getting tickets about the specials for this part of the show. Main show - fun, kids love it, dinner was without utensils so they really like this - more than enough food and beverages on hand.

The Stampede is a rodeo-type show that has the North against the South. Your participation is encouraged and the more you participate, the more fun you'll have. It's a wonderful show that the whole family will enjoy.

Your meal is included in the price of the show. No utensils, just your fingers. The food is very good and filling.

FANTASTIC! A wonderful show and finger-licking good (LITERALLY) food . . . you WON'T leave hungry! It's all finger foods and definitely not for the "prissy" eater, but it's great. For the price, you get dinner and a show that appeals to all ages, and the service is exceptional.

We were seated in a bleacher type setting as it was a dinner/show. Waitresses came and took drink orders and there were two meals to choose from - pork loin or quail. We chose quail, baked potato, corn on the cob, shrimp cocktail, soup, and pie for dessert. The food was great! We watched the battle between the North and the South (North won) and there is audience interaction to make it fun. There's comedy, music, and beautiful talented animal acts that were fantastic!

This place is very similar to other dinner show places (like Medieval Times) that seat a large crowd around a central arena, where horses, performers, and the occasional patron provide the entertainment for the diners.

Fairly expensive for dinner, but most of the cost is for the show. And the show is pretty good, with a North vs. South theme. The food is only so-so though, and you eat your meals with your hands. We liked viewing the horses outside the building both before and after the show.
