Oyster's Too

This was the place we dined on our first evening. Oysters Too was a nice place. They served local specialties (stuffed quahog, clam chowder, etc.) with plenty of other seafood dishes. The menu had enough variety for everyone, with burgers, salads, pasta, filet, etc. And they had a large dessert menu. I had the pistachio crème brule, and it was excellent.

This place was okay, but not our favorite on the Cape. On a scale of 1 to 10, I’d give it a 5. It was recommended to us by a local. It was very busy, so I recommend reservations.

This has a quiet, older crowd. There's a Piano bar for entertainment and good food with a slight Italian flare. The wait time was minimal - 30 minutes on prime time Saturday at 7pm.

On the outside, Oyster's Too is a big rambling house like building. Inside it is a cozy place to rest, have a drink or enjoy a meal. In the winter, there is a fireplace blazing in both large rooms and it provides a homey touch. In between, is a piano bar with couches and chairs as well as a regular bar. The fare tends toward seafood- you are on the Cape- but also offers a wide variety of meat dishes as well. Their swordfish is excellent. The service is prompt and professional. Save room for dessert and try their lemon mousse with fresh berries. It is scrumptious.

The restaurant has early bird specials if you are seated by 5:30. If traveling with a family but want an excellent meal in a good restaurant, this can save you quite a bit of money.
