Description
The building in which this restaurant resides was built in 1889. Now this Tahoe City restaurant and owner/chef Douglas Dale are noted nationally for fine cuisine. Chef Dale apprenticed at the Seventh Inn in Boston under the fine tutelage of Chef Hirosi Hayashi.
The menu is a mixture of East-West cuisine with an emphasis on the freshest of seafood dishes. One might start with a delectable Seafood Bisque for $6 and then choose Sea Bass Tempura for $19. Duck and lamb dishes are also a popular choice. Excellent, moderately-priced wines will complement your meal.
