Tanigawa's

Description

Locals love the food here. Greasy, simple and tasty, it hearkens back to the old days in Lana'i, when there was only one hotel on the island and the main dish at any restaurant was Saimin. In fact, the previous incarnation of this restaurant (S&T Properties) was around at that time. Steaming bowls of Saimin, sticky teriyaki, and juicy hamburgers are served. Printed menus are available, but most people can order from memory or from the menu on the wall. There are plenty of tables in the big, overheated dining area. Cash only.
