Brenneke's on the Beach is definitely that. Located across the street from beautiful Poi'pu Bay, the view from the second floor restaurant is wonderful. The food, ambience, and friendly service added to our enjoyable lunch. I would highly recommend taking a breather from your sightseeing afternoon by lunching at Brenneke's.

Brenneke's is located right across the street from Poipu State Park. Food and service was wonderful. We sat right by the open window and had a great view of the beach and ocean. We had an excellent waitress and kept saying to ourselves - boy do we have a great waitress. When leaving the restaurant her picture was on the wall as "Employee of the Year" - No wonder. Highly recommend this place. Located under the restaurant is a walk-up deli. Everyone we talked to said the sandwiches were wonderful too.

Every guide book will tell you to eat here but my family and I thought it was mediocre and the prices were pretty high. The wait to get a table at peak times could be an hour.
