We went to this restaurant because the resort (Sunterra Scottsdale Village Mirage) recommended it. Upon entering the restaurant, we realized that the prices were a bit higher than we wanted to spend that night (our first night, and being exhausted from the travel). We mentioned this and where we were staying, and they gave us $15.00 off of our bill and a free appetizer.

For the appetizer, we had the Oaxaca Cheese & Chicken Quesadilla. This was absolutely delicious. My husband had soup, as he always does. He had the Roasted Corn & Clam Chowder. I took a taste of this and found it had a wonderful, unique flavor. For his entree, my husband had the Black Angus Burger, and I had the Pork Tenderloin Fajita Salad. The food was Southwestern. All the dishes were excellent (tasting), and the presentation was fabulous (you almost hated to eat the dishes because they looked like works of art!). The portions were also large, and we were thus not able to even contemplate dessert. The atmosphere was relaxing and the service was good. This meal was a wonderful introduction to Arizona.

We have eaten here twice and the food is excellent. The outdoor patio is a great place to enjoy the warm Scottsdale evenings.

The jalapeno cream cheese appetizer is delicious. The entree was very good, but they saved the best for last. You won't be able to resist the dessert tray.

I was disappointed when we arrived here to find that it was a 'mall' side restaurant in a parking lot - a lot of places in Scottsdale seem to be like this.

The food was OK - the dessert tray was great - although brought too quickly - like they wanted you out of there in 15 minutes!

There was a good live entertainer - singing old songs with a guitar. Try sitting on their outdoor terrace - they have powerful heaters.
