The Canteen at Phantom Ranch

The food at the Canteen was exceptional. Breakfast started around 6:30 am, and a box lunch was prepared to take along on your adventures whether hiking, exploring or relaxing and dinner was served at two sittings with steak at the first and stew at the second. Meals were served family style. This arrangement provided plenty of opportunity to meet new people and compare experiences on the trail. At 8 pm the beer hall opens in the Canteen with plenty of refreshments, conversation and card games for any taste.
