Say Wah-HA-cah. I have eaten at Oaxaca on two separate trips and found the service to be lacking on both occasions--the second trip it was downright bad. The menu offers an extensive variety of Mexican and Southwestern dishes, some of which are healthy and/or vegetarian. The good news is that the food is better than the service, the bad news is that it isn't better by much. As a native Arizonan, I expect a little more bite out of Mexican cuisine than Oaxaca provides. The food isn't bad, it's just a little bland. If you aren't accustomed to authentic Mexican food, Oaxaca may be just your speed. However, I don't recommend it for serious aficionados (or for the seriously impatient).
