The Yavapai restaurant is located in the Enchantment Resort, which is off the beaten path from the main Sedona area. It is a luxurious restaurant that requires reservations even for lunch.
We were celebrating a birthday so we chose to sit out on the balcony. From our table, we only had to look up to see and enjoy the Boynton Canyon that surrounds the resort. What we didn't know about the history of the canyon, our waiter was happy to fill in.
The service was excellent. The food was the best we had in Sedona. Since it was not crowded at that time, we were able to linger a bit, enjoy the view, and take pictures. Although we were five women having lunch, this restaurant seemed perfect for a romantic evening under the stars. I'm not sure how child friendly it might be. I suspect the kids would prefer something simpler.
