The restaurant is decorated with the UFO theme including the sign "Earthlings must wait to be seated" when you enter the front door. There’s plenty to look at while your food is being prepared. The atmosphere is casual and our waitress was very friendly. The food was prepared quickly.
The menu is very extensive and it would be impossible not to find something that you liked on the menu. My husband had the Philly Cheesesteak sandwich with mashed potatoes and my son had hot dogs and French fries and they both said they enjoyed it. I had a turkey wrap that was huge and I took half of it home. There was plenty of turkey, tomatoes, lettuce, alfalfa sprouts and chipolte sauce wrapped in a spinach tortilla. It was delicious. I also had a pina colada, which was one of the best I’ve ever had. My husband had a beer and my son had a soda. The bill totaled $50 including the tip. It was a good time.

The menu was extensive. The smoothies were great. The hamburgers were cooked as requested. Mashed potatoes were offered as a substitute for french fries. The staff was friendly. We would definitely dine there again.

The diner is just that: it is not elegant surroundings, fancy waiters or fancy menus. It is all-American eating. The menu ranges from Japanese noodle bowls, to HUGE baked potatoes (as a main course), to meatloaf or prime rib(on Saturday nights). The portions are large and the prices are reasonable. The selections that we tried were all very good.
The dinner selections feature a Solar Salad that is excellent. It comes with a vinagrette dressing, gorgonzola cheese and walnuts. The greens are fresh and tender (no iceberg lettuce here!) and the cheese and nut combo are really tasty. If you do not like vinagrette, other dressings are available. The dinners also came with a stir-fried fresh veggie--mostly green and waxed beans that were excellent--I could not place the flavors in the beans but they were wonderful! (probably too much butter:0)
The main "dining room" featured a large flat screen tv--we watched "Close Encounters" as we waited for our food to come. One area of the diner featured the traditional counter. Nice if you are eating alone. The chairs had funny sayings on the back of them that added to the humor of the diner.
The diner also features a full service bar.
All in all, this is a place that I would return to and enjoy another salad!
