Alice's at La Te Da

There are so many bars and restaurants that we made a point to not go anywhere twice to eat, drink, or snack. Alice's was our special New Year's Eve dinner before the show. Their presentation was unique and service was above par.

Alice's is no longer a part of La Te Da. It is now across the street on Duval. The food is fabulous and the restaurant is in an open-air style. We go to Alice's every time we visit Key West. Alice will occasionally come out from the kitchen and chat!

Alice's award winning food is described as "New World Fusion Confusion Cuisine". Whimsical Asian, Mediterranean, and Caribbean creations with her mother's meat loaf thrown in for good measure. That is how their website (alicekeywest.com) describes Alice's unique menu.

We sat poolside with a large birthday party and we were very glad that we celebrated at Alice's. The food is hard to describe, as her mix of flavors and ingredients were unusual and wonderful, all at the same time. A bit pricey, but you're on vacation. Go ahead and splurge! It is worth it.
