Dish tries really hard to be (and cater to) a hip, scene with really good food. For the most part, it achieves the desired effect. The food selections are a mixture of your standard New American standbys (albeit masked by some interesting descriptions) and some unique twists like Pinenut Popcorn (which is very good). So once you get over feeling stupid about not knowing what some of the words in the menu mean, sit back and enjoy the meal...I did.
This is a great place to eat before going out in the Highlands. Arrive early to find parking and plan on spending some time at the bar while you wait for your seat. This is a perfect time to try the aforementioned Pinenut Popcorn.
