After we finished eating edamame, the rainbow roll my husband ordered was beautifully presented. He also had a broth with sudon noodles that he really liked. My son ordered his favorite: yakitori chicken with a side of rice. I would suggest this for any child who has not eaten Japanese food before. The chicken is lightly glazed in teriyaki sauce and served on a stick! A california roll (crab meat, avocado) is also a good choice for someone new to this type of cuisine.
For Japanese food, this restaurant proved to be very reasonable, too. With six diners (one of whom was a child), our tab was only $120. That was quite a bargain. My husband and I have easily spent that much by ourselves at other sushi bars eating unagi rolls and drinking sake!
I noticed Hashiguchi has another location though I have not eaten there. It is located at:3000 Windy Hill Rd.Suite A-5Marietta, GA770-955-2337
If you live in Cobb County, it might be easier to check that location out first. If the Atlanta location is any indication, I am sure the Cobb restaurant is also quite good.
