Per Moroccan custom, we had our hands bathed in warm water before we were given towels to drape over our shoulders. We were told to eat with our fingers and pieces of bread rather than with utensils before the first course of what became an over 2-hour long meal was served.
We found the food to be very good and very, very abundant. Our tab, with alcohol and gratuity, topped $100, but we also enjoyed the entertainment of belly dancers during our dessert.
One middle-aged diner who got his wife to get up and copy the dancers with him with wild abandon was as enjoyable to watch as the floor show! It all added up to a pretty memorable date.
