Anis (pronounced A-Knee) offers a delectable menu from Provence, France. The Mediterranean cooking is wonderful, and I am the most fond of the Ravioli Au Berre (I LOVE Pasta!) which is stuffed with spinach, walnuts and reggiano cheese. There are many wonderful appetizers such as the Mussels Marinier with which to start a meal, and a great selection of wines to compliment the entire dining experience. I also enjoy a Caffe Affogato (Espresso over Ice Cream) at the end of the dinner as I imagine I am somewhere in the South of France rather than in downtown Atlanta enjoying an evening in a Bistro. The restaurant is actually nothing more than an old Buckhead home that has been charmingly renovated to accomodate patrons thus lending a more intimate feel to the atmosphere. The service can vary in quality, but anyone who has ever eaten in Paris can just chalk that up as being part of the Anis 'French Experience'. I've never had a bad meal at this restaurant.
