Part of Ashton Lane's cobbled 'Pub Mile', the Attic sits above Cul de Sac but caters for a slightly more mature and sophisticated crowd. Not only do they sell the latest trendy beers here, they also do a lovely breakfast menu and have a fruit/vegetable juice bar. Most of the room is taken up by a huge horseshoe bar, creating an intimate, cosy atmosphere. At night it's candle-lit and packed, as the overspill from downstairs heads up in desperate search of seats.
