Mama's Fish House is widely known as the best restaurant for fresh fish on Maui. They serve a wide variety of fish caught in the neighboring ocean waters that same day. Each fish is available in a choice of unique preparations.
Mama's is about a one-hour drive from the main hotel and resort areas (Wailea and Kaanapali), but it's worth the trip. They serve both lunch and supper, but I prefer to go in daylight, to get the view of the big waves crashing along Maui's north shore.
